Unified Command Halloween Guidance
The Naugatuck Unified Command Team is discouraging traditional trick or treating.

Naugatuck’s Unified Command Team would like to update the community on how to safely prepare for Halloween with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The members of the borough's Unified Command Team include Mayor "Pete" Hess, Fran Dambowsky, the Emergency Management Director, Paul T. Russell, Naugatuck Fire Chief, Steven Hunt, Police Chief, Colin McAllister, Deputy Police Chief and Jim Trzaski, Deputy Fire Chief.

- We encourage the ‘Listen to your grandmother’ trick or treating plan on social media:

- We encourage alternate trick or treat activities such as those recommended by the Naugatuck Valley District (https://www.facebook.com/NaugatuckValleyHD/posts/3493006277449964 ).
- If you choose to engage in trick or treating, we encourage one-way trick or treating as encouraged by state guidelines (https://portal.ct.gov/DPH/Communications/Guidance/Connecticut-Halloween-Guidance).
- If you are going to engage in regular trick or treating we encourage normal CDC guidelines (cdc.gov/coronavirus) such as handwashing, facemasks, and social distancing.
Note: Consistent with these guidelines, Quinn Street and Millville will NOT be closed by police.
