ALPINE SKI RACING YOUTH COMPETITIONS BEING HELD IN FEBRUARY AT BLUE MOUNTAIN RESORT
Fostering Olympic Youth Potential Participation

PALMERTON, Penn. – While 2022 U.S. Olympic ski and boarding teams will be competing at the Beijing Games, Pennsylvania’s Blue Mountain Resort will host Pennsylvania Alpine Racing Association (PARA), FIS and United States of America Snowboard and Freeski Association (USASA) ski competitions fostering young athletes with their very own Olympic dreams. Blue Mountain Resort is home to the only U.S. International Ski Federation approved Giant Slalom hill in the Southeast Region.
The following exciting alpine ski and snowboarding competitions will take place at Blue Mountain throughout February:
USASA Boardercross and Ski Cross 1, 2, 3 and 4
Saturday, February 12, and Sunday, February 13
Ages Class: 10 to 18
Region: Mid Atlantic Series

Men’s and Women’s FIS Giant Slalom Races (highest level of racing before World Cup and Olympic levels)
Thursday, February 17, and Friday, February 18, at 9:30 a.m.
Athlete Class: FIS licensed U.S. and International Athletes

PARA U16 Finals Super Giant Slalom
Friday, February 25, at 10:00 a.m.
Age Class: U16
Event Region: State

PARA U16 Finals Giant Slalom

Saturday, February 26, at 9:30 a.m.
Age Class: U16
Event Region: State

PARA U16 Finals Slalom

Sunday, February 27, at 9:30 a.m.
Age Class: U16
