Ion Bank’s Commitment to Our Customers and Employees

As Connecticut enters Phase 1 of reopening from the COVID-19 pandemic, Ion Bank is committed to our customers and the communities we serve. As always, through Ion Bank, Ion Insurance and Ion Investments, we’re here to assist each of you with all your financial needs. While the State slowly and cautiously reopens, the health and safety of you and our employees remains our top priority.

Here are some of the things we are doing:

  • Through the Small Business Administration’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), Ion Bank has assisted almost 1,500 businesses with loan requests totaling more than $170 million. These funds have enabled many businesses to continue going, insuring their employees and families have continued income during this crisis. We will continue accepting applications from existing or new customers. Visit our website to apply: www.ionbank.com
  • In an effort to halt the spread of the disease, we have increased the frequency and scope of our cleaning activities at branch offices, drive ups, and PTM/ATMs as well as employee workspaces. If you have an appointment to visit our branch lobby, masks are required to be worn by both staff and customers. We have also put up plexiglass screens at our teller line and customer service desks for added protection.
  • To assist those in need, The Ion Bank Foundation has increased its grant allocation amount this year to $1 million, including an additional grant of more than $150 thousand for COVID-19 relief to our area United Ways.

While we always love to see you in person, for now we encourage you to use electronic banking whenever possible in place of visiting a branch. Now is a great time for us to help you get connected. Just call 203.729.4442!

  • Our Online Banking system, iBanking, is available to you 24/7 through your PC or on your phone using our mobile app
  • Ion Bank Personal Teller Machines let you speak to a representative from our lobby or drive up machines with expanded hours - 7am to 8pm Monday-Friday and 7am to 3pm on Saturday
  • Our ATMs are available 24/7 for your convenience
  • Call Bank by Phone at 203.720.5300 anytime
  • You can call our Contact Center at 203.729.4442 during the hours of 7am to 8pm Monday-Friday and 7am to 3pm on Saturday

Hoping you, your family and loved ones stay safe and stay healthy as we kick off the summer season!
