Ion Bank remains committed to helping their customers through these difficult times.

NAUGATUCK, CT -Ion Bank remains committed to helping our customers through these difficult times. Through the Paycheck Protection Program, Ion processed over 1700 loan applications totaling $194 million in requests, helping small CT businesses and their employees navigate the financial challenges they faced.

As Connecticut appears to have improved in many COVID related statistics, Ion Bank has reopened all branch lobbies. We do require face masks for in person appointments and transaction processing. Our drive up and video services all provide a safe, contactless environment to handle almost any transaction virtually. Use of our Personal Teller Machine technology also provides extended banking hours for your convenience – Monday through Friday from 7am to 8pm and Saturday from 7am to 3pm.

On April 1st, advanced access was temporarily given for directly deposit funds. This feature will end Tuesday, August 25th.

Unfortunately, during difficult economic times, scam artists seem to prey on innocent customers even more frequently. For our business banking customers, please confirm you’re dealing with a known person or entity before wiring funds or acting on behalf of another. Attorney related crimes are on the rise.

For our personal banking customers, please call us at 203.729.4442 when in doubt about the authenticity of a financial transaction. Again, Ion Bank will never call or email you asking for personal information like account numbers, personal identification (PIN) numbers, your birthdate or social security number.
