We thank you, the community, for all the sacrifices you have made in recent weeks in order to do your part to ensure the state’s health care system was available to serve the most critically ill patients in need of our care. We have been proud to stand with you, and for you, during these trying times.

A lot in health care has changed in recent months and if you, like many others, have had to postpone important doctor visits, surgeries, screenings, or other exams, now’s the time to get back on track. After all, nothing’s more important than your health.

That’s why we’re taking extra precautions to provide the critical care you need––all without added worries or “what ifs.” Here are some of the important ways we’re prioritizing your family’s health and safety:

• We’ve designated “COVID-Free” Zones (areas where we provide care only for people not known to have COVID-19 or COVID-19 symptoms) to minimize any risk of infection.
• We’re requiring mandatory screenings of all patients, personnel, and visitors entering our facilities and COVID-Free Zones.
• We test all patients for COVID-19 prior to any scheduled procedure requiring an overnight stay.
• We provide and require masks for patients and colleagues to keep everyone safe at our facilities.
• We also are following the CDC’s standards for cleaning, with increased frequency of cleaning and special attention to surfaces that are often touched, like doorknobs and flat surfaces.
• We’re limiting visitors to ensure the safety of all.
• And, of course, we’re continuing social distancing measures wherever possible.
