Vehicle Rolls Over, Passengers Extracted In Naugatuck: Police

Police said Naugatuck Fire Department crews were able to extract the driver and passengers from the vehicle.

NAUGATUCK, CT β€” Crews were able to extract the driver and passengers from a vehicle after it rolled over Wednesday morning in Naugatuck, according to police.

In a news release, police said first responders were called to the area of Andrew Avenue and Scott Street after receiving a report of a rollover vehicle accident.

Naugatuck Fire Department crews were able to quickly and efficiently extract the occupants from the vehicle. Despite the severity of the rollover, only minor injuries were reported, according to police.

The injured occupants were taken to a local hospital by Naugatuck EMS. Traffic in the area was disrupted for a short time but was clear as of 11:30 a.m., according to police.
