Warner Stage Company Wins Top Honors at New England Regional Festival

'Winter Flowers' will move on to the National Competition in Michigan.

The Warner Stage Company won Outstanding Production at the New England Regional Festival held this weekend at the Nancy Marine Studio Theatre in Torrington. Their production of ’Winter Flowers’ earned the award for Best Director to Sharon A. Wilcox, as well as Best Actress to both Jane Coughlin and Lea Dmytryck. As Outstanding Production, the Warner Stage Company will move on to the national competition in Michigan this year.

Backyard Theater Ensemble’s set for ’Laundry and Bourbon’ won the Raise the Roof: Excellence in Scenic Design. Congratulations to the two CT theaters that represented our state for the first time in 30 years.
