Warner Theatre Announces Collaborative Arts Program with Torrington Public Schools

Torrington, CT – The Warner Theatre announced today that the Warner Theatre Center for Arts Education and Torrington Public Schools have partnered to provide students attending Torrington High School an extended day program in the performing arts.

As part of the THS Options Program, students will be able to attend the WTCAE and participate in classes that will include a planned course of study in the theater arts working with practicing professionals. The classes will meet three days per week. Students may register for these courses during the first weeks of school. Classes begin September 15th. More information and registration forms will be provided at THS beginning August 12th.

”This is a program that has been much anticipated and we are thrilled to be able to offer Torrington High School students the opportunity to pursue a comprehensive arts education program right here in Torrington” said Warner Theatre Center for Arts Education’s Director, Isabel Carrington.

There is no fee to students or their families for the program. Students will earn elective credits for successful participation in the program.
