Waterbury ARC is pleased to announce the return of its Annual Fundraiser & Auction, Wednesday, June 8th at the Grand Oak Villa

WATERBURY – Just in time for its 70th Anniversary, the Waterbury ARC is pleased to announce the return of its Annual Fundraiser & Auction, Wednesday, June 8th at the Grand Oak Villa Banquet Facility, 550 Sylvan Lake Road in Oakville from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. New this year as part of the celebration is a sit-down dinner served family-style, along with desserts by The Big Dipper Ice Cream Parlour and Fascia’s Chocolates.
The event, which had been canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic, will feature a cash bar, silent and live auctions, and raffles. Prizes including sweet treats; hotel stays; restaurant gift certificates; spa packages; theatre, sports, museum tickets, and much more, have been graciously donated by dozens of businesses and individuals alike from across the state and beyond. A unique and exciting jewelry experience will also be offered through the kindness of Onyx II Jewelers of Watertown.
Diamond Sponsor Post University presents the Fundraiser & Auction, along with Platinum hosts Grady & Riley; Thomaston Savings Bank; and Ion Bank, with Gold-Level Sponsor support from Carmody, Torrance, Sandak, & Hennessey; Noujaim Tool Company, St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation; Shaker Automotive Group, TD Bank, and Webster Bank.
The mission of WARC, which began operations in Waterbury in 1952, is to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live, learn, work, and participate in their communities. Proceeds will be used to maintain social, event, and activity programming for clients at the East Main Street non-profit.
Reserved-seating tickets are $35 per person, or $315 for a table of 10. They may be obtained by calling (203) 591-9190. Tickets must be purchased by May 8th and will not be sold at the door.
