Waterbury Chinese Delivery Woman Killed, Four Charged
Police believe the four arrestees ordered food with the intention of committing a robbery.

WATERBURY, CT—Four people have been arrested after a Chinese delivery woman was robbed and murdered Tuesday night, according to police.
Anthony Wright, 19, along with two 16-year-olds and a 17-year-old were charged with felony murder, first degree robbery and conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery, according to the Hartford Courant.
A state attorney said that Wright has a prior robbery conviction and is am ember of the Crips gang.

The victim Helena Vargas, 59, of Waterbury was shot in the neck and a male delivery driver was assaulted, according to NBC Connecticut.
Police believe that the four arrestees intentionally ordered food in order to conduct a robbery.

Wright and a 16-year-old boy were additionally charged with second-degree larceny, conspiracy, criminal use of a firearm and carrying a pistol without a permit.
