Waterbury Cops Seize 1,323 Heroin Bags, Cash, Crack In Drug Raid
A city man is facing multiple drug-related charges, according to police.

WATERBURY, CT β A city man has been arrested after police seized more than a thousand bags of heroin, cash and crack cocaine from his possession, police said.
God Shakur, 40, of Waterbury, is charged with possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of one ounce or more of heroin/fentanyl, and possession of a half ounce or more of cocaine in freebase form.
On March 27, police executed search warrants for Shakurβs person, a 2014 BMW 320ix and a residence at 47 Joshua Town Rd.

Police said they seized 1,323 bags of heroin, $400 cash, 132 grams of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
Shakur has been arraigned in Superior Court in Waterbury, and he is next due in court on April 28. As of Thursday, he had not posted a $250,000 bond and remained in state custody.
