Waterbury Holds Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday

Parade watchers were sparse, but the annual parade went on as scheduled.

Waterbury - Despite the weather, the Waterbury Friends of the Hibernians presented the St. Patrick's Day Parade 2024 on Saturday, March 2. The parade kicked off at 1 p.m from the Washington Park House and included floats, bands, antique trucks and cars and fire trucks.

There were road closures and detours in the South End, with the main areas affected including Sylvan Ave, Baldwin St, and Edgewood Ave.

An open house followed at the AOH Hall, offering corned beef sandwiches and hot dogs.
