Waterbury Pedestrian Killed In Crash: Reports

A 73-year-old Waterbury man died due to injuries suffered in a wreck Friday morning.

WATERBURY, CT — A man was killed in a car vs. pedestrian accident in Waterbury early Friday morning, according to The Hartford Courant. The crash occurred at 984 Baldwin St. around 6 a.m.

The pedestrian, a 73-year-old Waterbury man, was taken to St. Mary's Hospital for treatment. He was pronounced dead just after 6:30 a.m., The Hartford Courant reported.

Baldwin Street from Laval and Glenn streets was closed due to an investigation, WFSB 3-TV reported.
