Waterbury Teen Checks Into Hospital With Gunshot Wounds: PD

The man sought treatment on Friday night, according to police.

WATERBURY, CT — An 18-year-old city man showed up at a local hospital Friday night with two gunshot wounds, police said.

Sgt. Joseph Morais said the gunshot wounds were to the man’s lower extremities, and they were not life-threatening.

The victim is in stable condition, police said.

Police said they were notified around 9:30 p.m. Friday that someone with gunshot wounds had arrived at the hospital.

According to police, the shooting is still under investigation.
