WATERBURY, CT - Community theatre actor Tyler Bard is appearing on WATR 1320 during the morning drive time show. Mr. Bard is covering for veteran news broadcaster Christopher Fortier, who is taking the lead seat for the vacationing Tom Chute during TOM CHUTE AND YOU.

Mr. Bard will be sharing the news of the day through next Monday when Mr. Chute returns. His shift begins bright and early at 6:00am until 10:00am; he then helps out with Steve Noxon's TALK OF THE TOWN. Young Mr. Bard, who is the younger brother of Peter Bard, has been very impressive during his newcasts as well as when he is interacting with Mr. Fortier on the air.

For his part, the personable (and young) Mr. Fortier (pictured above) has been doing a wonderful job covering for the "King of Culture," following in his footsteps with aplomb and always playing a fine selection of tunes.
