WCSU to Hold Veterans Day Ceremony to Honor Those Who Served

The event is sponsored by the Student Veterans Organization (SVO) and is open to the public.

DANBURY, Connecticut — Western Connecticut State University will hold a Veterans Day Ceremony at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, outside of its Old Main building on WCSU’s Midtown campus, 181 White Street, Danbury. The event is sponsored by the Student Veterans Organization (SVO) and is open to the public.

Several hundred American flags adorn the Midtown campus at Western Connecticut State University to honor those who have served.

Hundreds of flags already grace the front lawn of Old Main to honor the those who bravely served our country. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held in the Student Center Theater on the Midtown campus, behind the Old Main building.
