Waterbury CT Teachers Federal Credit Union has opened scholarship applications.
Five College Scholarships Are Available From Waterbury CT Teachers Federal Credit Union
General Scholarships
- A 2 - Year Scholarship - $2,500 award per year, granted to the most outstanding student entering any field of study.
- Two 1 - Year Scholarships - $2,500 award granted to outstanding students entering any field of study.
The John F. Cronan Scholarship
- A one-time $2,500 award granted to the most outstanding Waterbury resident graduating from a Waterbury public high school (Crosby, Kennedy, Waterbury Arts Magnet, Waterbury Career Academy and Wilby).
The Jean O'Brien Memorial Scholarship

- A $2,500 award, renewable each year for a maximum of three years, granted to the most outstanding student entering the field of education.
Eligibility Requirements
- High school senior graduating in spring of 2022
- WCTFCU Member*
- Beginning freshman year of college in fall of 2022
