Wednesday Update from Director of Emergency Management
Some situations remain of downed trees that are lying on live wires, as well as trees that might be weakened and may still fall.

Fran Dambowsky posted this update on Wednesday evening.
UPDATED: Just received a report from a resident that Eversource crews are presently addressing the blocked access on Crestwood Drive. Thanks Julie Merluzzi Rosenblatt for being my extra set of eyes.
Good evening. Eversource is reporting 100% restoration of power to Naugatuck Residents. This does not mean that that all hazards have been addressed. There are presently situations where downed trees are lying on live wires as well as trees that might be weakened and may still fall. PLEASE use caution when traveling and be aware of your surroundings. Should you see anything that you may think is, or can be, an hazard, please contact us at UnifiedCommand@Naugatuck-CT.gov or call the Fire Department at 203-720-7983. You can always contact me at fdambowsky@naugatuck-ct.gov or my personal cell phone at 203-721-4182 but remember that sending your email to Unified Command forwards your email to every member on the team and will most likely result in a quicker reply. For true emergencies, always dial 911.
