Wendy's Wants To Open In Naugatuck: Here's Where
A public hearing will be held soon on Wendy's proposal, which is estimated to cost about $2 million.

NAUGATUCK, CT β A public hearing is scheduled for 6:15 p.m. on Jan. 15 concerning a developer's proposal to develop a portion of 112 Bridge St. into a Wendy's Restaurant, according to land use meeting minutes. The project requires a special permit approval. The applicant is Restaurant Holdings, LLC.
My Citizen's News reports that the developer wants to build a 2,223-square-foot drive-thru Wendy's and the project will cost $2 million and take six months to construct if approved. The business will hire 36 employees.
Oliver Gaffney, ASLA Landscape Architect with TPA Design Group located in New Haven attended a recent Zoning Commission meeting on behalf of Wendyβs restaurant to give a brief overview and hand in supplemental information requested from Mr. Carter, ZEO including signage and architectural graphics.

Gaffney stated for the record that he submitted the hard copies of the signage and architectural graphics at this meeting. Ed Carter handed out copies to the commissioners at the start of the meeting after receiving them via email.
VOTED: Unanimously on a motion by Eileen Bronko and seconded by Neil Mascola on a motion to ACCEPT the Special Permit Application, REFER to planning and SET a public hearing for January 15, 2020 at 6:15 PM for the proposed restaurant development at 112 Bridge St., Applicant; Restaurant Holdings, LLC.
