This weekend only Spotlight Stage Company will present JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR on the stage at Seymour Middle School, bringing the iconic rock opera to a new generation. Performances are Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Shanon-Courtney Denihan of Naugatuck directs the inclusive cast and ensemble member Nancy Sasso Janis plays the Maid by the Fire. Will the family get along with the ghosts who already call The Haunted House home? Find out in this fun, silly and not-at-all-scary Halloween show for families!

The Ebbas on Fri. October 18 at 8 PM at Seven Angels

Born out of a love for the sun-soaked era of the late ’70s and early ’80s, Anchor Management sets sail with an unwavering commitment to capturing the essence of Yacht Rock, a genre known for its breezy rhythms, silky harmonies, and laid-back sophistication. Anchor Management’s repertoire is a carefully curated selection of Yacht Rock classics, featuring chart-toppers from the likes of Christopher Cross, Michael McDonald, Toto, and Steely Dan.

Two musical greats are coming to the Palace Theater - Waterbury, CT this week: Gilberto Santa Rosa, one of the most successful Latin music vocalists in the world, on Friday, Oct. 18 and Itzhak Perlman, the undeniable reigning virtuoso of violin, on Saturday, Oct. 19.

The Mattatuck Museum will hold the opening celebration for Mad Gepetto’s Spooky Dioramas on Sunday from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. The museum is offering reduced admission of $5 for the event.
Visit the Naugatuck Farmers Market this Sunday 10/20 for a FREE pumpkin painting event. Children at the market will receive a free small pumpkin to paint. Sunset Farm will have buy one get one free pumpkins if you need more and all of the local vendors will be present on the Naugatuck Green.

Mini werewolves, witches and woofers are invited to Lake Compounce this weekend for the park’s annual HOWL-O-WEEN Dog Costume Parade on Sunday, October 20.
Puppers and their parents are invited to the park in their Halloween best for a spooktacular canine carnival in partnership with the Meriden Humane Society. Those who bring a donation of dog treats, toys or food valued at $10 or more will receive a ticket to Holiday Lights during the park’s beloved Howl-o-ween Dog Costume Parade.
The parade will take place at 4 p.m. but pups and their parents are invited to play all day from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. as they enjoy pup cups, delicious Halloween treats, pick their own pumpkins and more!
The pup-tastic fun is all part of Phantom Fall Fest at America’s First Amusement Park. The annual haunt event offers family-friendly (and pup-friendly) fun during the day, then at 6 p.m. the fear kicks into gear with four sinister haunts including two all-new experiences every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through the rest of October.
