Computer Basics - Monday, September 12, 2016 10:30am-11:30am

This introductory class is meant to teach absolute beginners the basics of computer use. Learn how to turn on a computer and open an application, and how to practice using amouse and keyboard. Gettips on setting up your home computer.

Introduction to the Internet - Monday, September 19, 2016 10:30am-11:30am

Learn how to search the internet. Participants will be able to turn on a computer, open a web browser, search for a few key words, and view a webpage by the end of the class. Participants will also be able to print one free page from a website.

E-mail Basics - Monday, September 26, 2016 10:30am-11:30am

You will create your own e-mail account in this class. Participants will learn how to navigate to their log-in screen, type in their email address and password, compose an e-mail, and then send it by the end of the class. Bring paper and pencil with you so you can write down your password.

Microsoft Word Basics - Monday, October 3, 2016 10:30am-11:30am

Learn how to type, edit, and print documents in Microsoft Word. Participants will open the Microsoft Word program, type and edita short paragraph, and then print one page for free.

Open Session 1 Review - Monday, October 17, 2016 10:30am-11:30am
