A Middlebury resident is the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Middlebury resident is more than $25,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket he purchased in Naugatuck, Connecticut Lottery officials announced.

On Wednesday, Christopher Radlinski claimed a winning FAST PLAY - $2 MONEY VAULT PROGRESSIVE ticket worth $25,969 he purchased at Smoke Plus on Rubber Avenue.

The game, which costs $2 per ticket, offers rolling jackpots in which players try to match their numbers to winning numbers.

Odds vary depending on the version of the game, and as it progresses, according to lottery officials. However, for the $2 game, the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.75.
