Winning Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Naugatuck

A local resident is the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Naugatuck resident is $55,555 richer this week after claiming a winning scratch-off lottery ticket he purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Thursday, Donald Bryk claimed a winning "Fantastic 5s" ticket he purchased at Tobacco Vape Outlet on Rubber Avenue.

The game, which costs $5 per ticket, began in April, and as of Thursday, is ending soon, because it has only one remaining $55,555 grand prize unclaimed.

More than 2 million game tickets were printed, and the overall odds of winning were 1 in 3.99.
