And what of the titular Wonderettes? All that need be said is that Brad always finds top talent – and this cast is no exception. 4 young ladies with exceptional voices, delivering energetic and fun versions of holiday classics with powerful vocals and beautiful harmonies! So, let’s meet them:Renee Browne of Patterson NY plays Missy. Renee was most recently Vocal Director for ANYTHING GOES at Brewster High School. Jazzy Cores of Redding CT plays Cindy Lou. She has been very active this year, appearing in GREASE at Musicals at Richter and RENT at the Wilton Playshop. Jacquelyn Schultz of Fairfield CT is Betty Jean. Jacquelyn recently returned to the stage as Jan in GREASE at the Wilton Playshop. And another Musicals at Richter regular, Daisy Stott of Brookfield CT plays Suzy. She’s no stranger to Mr Blake’s productions, having worked with him and Charles or over 10 years!
Steve Stott, the Sherman Players President, and WINTER WONDERETTES Producer says, “This show is perfect for the holidays in just about every way. It has all the pizzazz we expect from Brad along with sharp stylish costumes and a set that’ll take you straight back to 60’s small-town America. But, of course, best of all are the Wonderettes themselves – smart, funny and with incredible voices. You’ll laugh, you’ll cheer, you’ll rock around the Christmas tree!”
