Woman Accused Of Forgery, Held On $10K Bond: Naugatuck Police
She was also arrested on a warrant for other charges, police said.
NAUGATUCK, CT β A Waterbury woman, Carlen Francois, 45, of North Main Street, is facing several charges in Naugatuck including a first-degree forgery charge, police said.
On Dec. 5, Francois was arrested on a warrant for an incident that occurred at the Liberty Bank on New Haven Road, police said. She is accused of attempting to cash a forged check, police said. She was held in lieu of a $10,000 bond and is charged with first-degree forgery and criminal attempt at fourth-degree larceny.
Francois is also charged with three counts of second-degree failure to appear and one count of first-degree failure to appear.
