Woman Accused Of Harassing Neighbor: Naugatuck Police

The accused called police saying that her neighbor was being "assaulted or possibly killed," police said.

NAUGATUCK, CT β€” A Naugatuck woman, Michelle Lillis, 49, of Maple Hill Drive, is accused of call 911 "claiming her neighbor was being assaulted or possibly killed on the 911 line multiple times," police said. Police responded to a Spring Street home to investigate.

"The officer followed up with the neighbor to find that the neighbor was okay and being harassed by the accused," Naugatuck police said in a report. "The officer found that this was not the first incident where the accused has harassed the neighbor."

Police said Lillis was told several times to leave the neighbor alone by officers and the accused didn't listen and "escalated the situation with false 911 calls."
