Woman Approaches Man with Knife, Man Slashes Woman's Tire: Naugatuck Police
Police say both the man and woman were charged during the domestic incident.

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Naugatuck man and woman are arrested after an argument escalated which included one person approaching the other with a knife and the other person slashing a tire on a vehicle, police said.
Police said at 3:50 p.m. on Feb. 12 officers responded to a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument Pennie Monroe, 52, of Scott Street approached Thomas Parniawski, 51, of Scott Street, with a knife in her hand, police said.
Parniawski removed the knife from Monroe's hand causing him to suffer a cut to his hand, police said. During the altercation, Parniawski slapped Monroe and slashed a tire on her vehicle, police said.

They were both charged with disorderly conduct charges and Parniawski is also charged with third-degree criminal mischief and Monroe is also charged with threatening. They were released on a $2,500 bond.
