Woman Assaults Man While He Sleeps: Naugatuck Police

The accused was released on a $5,000 bond.

NAUGATUCK, CT β€” A woman is accused of assaulting a man while he was sleeping, Naugatuck Police said. On Jan. 10 at 12:39 a.m. officers responded to a residence for a domestic disturbance between the accused and a male victim, police said.

During the incident Jennifer Landry, 28, went after the male victim and it turned physical, police said. The male victim stated the accused punched and slapped him several times while he was in bed asleep, police said. Landry was arrested and given a court date and released on a $5,000 bond.

She is charged with risk of injury to a child, disorderly conduct, third-degree assault, and second-degree threatening.
