Woman Bites Victim's Finger: Naugatuck Police

NAUGATUCK, CT — An Ansonia woman, Janazia Smith-tackach, 20, is accused of becoming involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when she bit "down hard on the victim's finger," Naugatuck police said. The victim told police she was injured, police said.

Police responded to a domestic dispute at 11:44 p.m. on April 7, police said.

Smith-tackach is charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
