Woman Left Dog In Hot Car: Naugatuck PD

The dog was left in a hot car for an extended period of time, police said.

NAUGATUCK, CT β€” A Waterbury woman was arrested after she left her dog in a hot vehicle, police said.

Police were called to Big Y Supermarket on July 27 and found the dog in the dark vehicle for an extended amount of time.

Melanie Grice, 48, was charged with cruelty to animals and released on a promise to appear.
