Woman Pushed To Ground, Robbed Outside Naugatuck Rite-Aid

Police are searching for the suspect who they say stole the woman's car after forcibly taking her purse and keys.

NAUGATUCK, CT β€” Police are searching for a man who they say assaulted a 55-year-old woman and robbed her outside of a Naugatuck Rite-Aid.

The robbery happened around 7 p.m. Friday, according to police, who said the woman was shoved to the ground outside the store before the suspect forcibly took her purse and car keys. The woman sustained minor injuries, police said.

The suspect is described as a Black male who is approximately 5-feet, 6-inches tall with a medium build. Police said he stole the victim's car, a 2011 Subaru Legacy CT with license plate number AC45705.
