Woman Shoplifts In Presence Of Young Children: Naugatuck PD
Police say the woman tried to conceal nearly $500 worth of goods.
NAUGATUCK, CT βA Waterbury woman is accused of shoplifting from Walmart in the presence of young children, police said. At 12:28 p.m. on March 5, police responded to Walmart located at 1100 New Haven Road on a report of a shoplifting from the store.
Loss prevention told police that they saw Denisha Wlls, 32, of Angel Drive, in the presence of small children in her care, conceal merchandise totaling over $473.02 and exit the store without paying for items, police said. The accused was arrested and later released on a $2,000.00 NON-Surety Bond.
She is charged with risk of injury to a child and sixth-degree larceny.
