Woman Stabbed Man In Chest, Naugatuck Police Say
She was released after posting a $75,000 bond, police said.

NAUGATUCK, CT β A woman is accused of stabbing a man in the chest during a domestic incident on March 7, Naugatuck police said Wednesday. Monique C. Dorantes-taylor, 47, was arrested on a warrant this week and was released after posting a $75,000 bond, police said.
In the early morning hours of March 7, police were called to St. Maryβs Hospital after learning that an adult male victim had been admitted to the emergency department with a stab wound that had been sustained at a residence on Walnut Street in Naugatuck, police said.
Police said the male victim had been involved in a domestic dispute with Dorantes-taylor who had stabbed him in the chest at a home.

A family member drove the victim to the hospital, police said. After learning that an arrest warrant had been issued, Dorantes-taylor voluntarily surrendered, police said.
