Woman Stole $56,000 From Victim: Naugatuck Police
The accused was released on a $25,000 bond, police say.
NAUGATUCK, CT β A Bristol woman is accused of stealing in excess of $56,000 from the victim, Naugatuck Police say. On March 6, Tina Seckington, 37, of Grove Street in Bristol, was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant stemming from an incident that was reported on December 13, 2018, police said.
The victim reported that Seckington withdrew approximately $56,302.56 worth of checks with cash withdrawals from a Bank of America checking account, which was used for work purposes by the victim, police said.
The investigation revealed that the accused cashed the checks and made the withdrawals after stealing the checks and account information from the victim's residence, police said. The accused was arrested and released on a $25,000 bond.

Seckington is charged with first-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit first-degree larceny, first-degree identity theft, conspiracy to commit first-degree identity theft, third-degree forgery, conspiracy to commit third-degree forgery, third-degree burglary, and conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary.
