Woodland High School Theater Department to Present 'Clue'

Beacon Falls, CT – Join Region 16’s Woodland High School Theater Department, as they present two side-splitting performances of “Clue: On Stage”, October 22 at 7 pm and October 23 at 1 pm.

Join us for murder, mystery and mayhem in the Woodland auditorium with this whodunit play based on the iconic 1985 Paramount film, and Hasbro board game. “Clue” is a hilarious farce-meets-murder mystery.

On a dark and stormy night set in 1954, just outside of Washington, D.C, six unique guests, a butler, a maid and cook assemble for a dinner party at the home of Mr. Boddy. When their host turns up dead, it becomes clear that no one is safe.

Led by Wadsworth – the butler (Claire Cummings), Miss Scarlett (Runiyah Marie Albino-Weathersby), Professor Plum (Connor Doughney), Mrs. White (Hannah Mudry), Mr. Green (Evan Moore), Mrs. Peacock (Alyssa Gillies) and Colonel Mustard (Reese Fernandez) race to find the killer as the body count stacks up. “Clue” is the comedy whodunit that will leave both cult-fans and newcomers in stitches as they try to figure out…WHO did it, WHERE, and with WHAT!

“This show has been a lot of fun to direct. The actors are extremely excited for this production, and so is the Woodland community,” said Tom Simonetti, Woodland’s director and theater teacher.

Was it Mrs. Peacock in the kitchen with a candlestick? Perhaps it was Mr. Green in the billiard room with the wrench?“ “Clue: On Stage” will keep audiences guessing to the very end.
