The Meriden-New Britain-Berlin YMCA will host Endless Summer XVI: For the Love of the Game – A Tailgate Party on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 6:30–10:00 p.m. at Tunxis Country Club in Farmington. This year’s signature fundraising event will honor Nicole and Eddie Rodriguez, recipients of the 2026 Ken Griffen Compass Award, in recognition of their commitment to the community.
Guests are invited to wear their favorite team jerseys or casual sports attire and enjoy an evening of food, fun and fundraising. The event will feature an open bar, hors d'oeuvres, dinner, dancing, a Heads or Tails game, and silent and live auctions.
All proceeds from Endless Summer XVI will benefit the YMCA’s Annual Support Campaign, which aims to provide more than $200,000 in financial assistance. These funds help ensure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive at the Y.
“At the Y, we are more than a gym. We’re a cause,” said John Benigni, CEO of the Meriden-New Britain-Berlin YMCA. “When our community purchases a ticket, becomes a sponsor or makes a donation to Endless Summer, they are helping children and families access opportunities that can make a lasting difference in their lives.”
Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available now. For more information, call Marci Moskal at 860-229-3787.
