An area resident recently purchased a winning lottery ticket in New Canaan, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
NEW CANAAN, CT — A New York resident is $100,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket this week in New Canaan, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
On Wednesday, Longzhe Han of Flushing, N.Y., won $100,000 playing a "$500,000 Extravaganza! Second Edition" game. The winning ticket was purchased from Keans Korner LLC in New Canaan.
