Farm-to-table dining has been around for a quite a while (actually, for a very, very long time, but it's become a "thing" more recently), and thankfully Connecticut has not missed out on the trend.

Sure, we all know that the state has a host of wonderful restaurants, but were you aware of that Connecticut features several great farm-to-table restaurants, 11 of which were recently highlighted by the travel and entertainment website OnlyInYourState.com. "It’s no secret: produce fresh from the farm tastes better," writes author Lauren Sweeney. "At farm-to-table restaurants, it’s not uncommon to find food that was harvested just hours ago on the table. As an added bonus, the farm-to-table movement is great for the local economy."
