1913 New Canaan Library Legacy Building To Be Moved Beginning Friday
The legacy building will travel to its new home beginning on Friday, according to the New Canaan Library.
NEW CANAAN, CT — The 1913 New Canaan Library legacy building will begin its move to a new location on the library's campus beginning Friday morning, according to an announcement on the library's website.
"The move will take place slowly, over multiple days. Stop in for a glance!" the library said, noting the building will be moved 115 feet west.
New Canaan Advertiser previously reported last October the building would be moved closer to the Gulf gas station to facilitate the construction of a new green space.
