2 Charged In New Canaan Residential Burglary Spree: Police
The two are suspected of breaking into multiple homes last month in the northeast section of town.

NEW CANAAN, CT — A 34-year-old Derby man and a 33-year-old Shelton woman were arrested on multiple charges of burglary and larceny last week in connection with a burglary spree in New Canaan in August where they are suspected of breaking into five homes, according to police.
Daniel Perez, of Seymour Avenue, and Alessandra Silio, of Coram Avenue, were arrested on warrants Friday following at search of Silio's home where items from the thefts were discovered, police said.
The two became suspects in the break ins, which occurred at homes in the northeast section of New Canaan, with the help of investigators from other area communities.

Additionally, surveillance video from one of the burglarized homes in New Canaan showed a dark-colored Ford Mustang leaving the scene, which police were able to link to the two, according to police.
Besides the New Canaan burglaries, the two also are suspects in similar break ins in Norwalk and Wilton.

The two were each held in lieu of bail of $150,000 and were scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Sept. 9.
