The National Council for Home Safety and Security recently rated the safest cities in America.

Two Connecticut cities are among the 100 safest in America for 2017, according to a new report by the National Council for Home Safety and Security.

Greenwich, which was recently named the safest place in America to raise a child, is the second safest city in the United States, writes the NCHSS report, and Fairfield checks in at #70.

"Your health and wellness can be impacted by how comfortable you are when moving to a new place," states the NCHSS report. "In order to feel secure, citizens need to know that they will be alright no matter where they go in town whether they go to a public place or commuting to and from home."
