6th Grade Boys Black Team Crushes Orange 6th Grade B Team

The New Canaan Sixth Grade Boys Black Team crushed Orange in a close game. From the start, New Canaan proved too much for Orange with excellent teamwork and speed. The Orange Crush came back in the third quarter tying the game with relentless three pointers from the outside. In the 4th quarter, New Canaan shut down the outside shots and gained momentum outscoring Orange by 8 points to their win 59-51.

Graham Butler put 19 points on the board, with Luke Robinson (12), Harry Mayock (10) and Brendan Wells (7) also contributing key baskets. The New Canaan offense and defense dominated the boards with over 30 rebounds led by Graham Butler, Carter Heagle and Luke Robinson. Also scoring for New Canaan were Carter Heagle (5), Michael Smith (4) and James Tower (2).
