Industrial Design Services Among 30 New Businesses Registered In New Canaan In July

NEW CANAAN, CT — Thirty new businesses registered with the state in New Canaan in July, according to the Connecticut Business Registry.

One of the most unique entries was The Apostrophe Group LLC, which registered under the "industrial design services" category at 114 Cross Ridge Road on July 29.

Real estate and finance made up much of the rest of the list, including several lessors of residential and other real estate.

Health and biotech filings also stood out, with Morningstar Therapeutics LLC registering under "research and development in biotechnology except nanobiotechnology" and Belden Hill Therapy PLLC registering as "offices of mental health practitioners except physicians."

State registration marks when a business files paperwork with the Secretary of the State, not necessarily when it opens to customers, so some of these ventures may not yet be operating at the addresses listed.
