Several Vehicles Involved In New Canaan Crash: Police

NEW CANAAN, CT — Several vehicles were involved in an accident on Friday, police said.

At 4:10 p.m., NewCanaan Police responded to the area of 35 Elm St. for the reported motor vehicle accident that involved several parked cars and one car reported on the sidewalk, police said.

The accident investigation revealed that a vehicle was backing out of a parking space on Elm Street and backed into another parked vehicle, which subsequently pushed a third parked vehicle up onto the sidewalk, police said.

The vehicle then struck two other parked vehicles before coming to a stop, police said.

There were no injuries reported as a result of this accident. The accident is under investigation.
