Hanson Lunches and Leads at St. Luke's School

New Canaan Resident, Peter Hanson was recently the featured speaker at St. Luke’s Center for Leadership. Hanson, a former publisher of Money magazine, spoke to students during a “Lunch & Lead” session and offered valuable insights into being strong communicators and presenters.

Hanson talked with the students about his leadership philosophy and shared this favorite quote from Margaret Mead: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”

In addition to Money, Hanson’s publishing career included Home Mechanix, Field & Stream and Sports Illustrated.  He also taught Publishing and Business Communications at Pace University. Hanson is a St. Luke’s School alumni (1957) and member of the St. Luke’s Board of Trustees. He is also a trustee of the Children’s Aid Society in New York City.
