Jackson Prince, a junior at St. Luke’s School in New Canaan, trekked with his mother Sharon and members of the group Next Generation Nepal into the mountains of Nepal to learn more about child trafficking and what can be done to stop it.
Jackson’s trip was inspired by Conor Grennan, author of the best-selling novel Little Princes and President and founder of Next Generation Nepal (NGN), a non-profit organization that reconnects trafficked children with their families. Jackson said his mother gave him a copy of Little Princes and when he was through, he knew he had to get involved.
St. Luke’s Head of School, Mark Davis commented on Jackson’s trip saying: “Jackson is living the St. Luke’s mission, Enter to Learn, Go Forth to Serve.”
