Angry Woman Throws Ice Cream at New Canaan Baskin Robbins: Report
The store's BOGO Tuesday deal may be done after the woman's meltdown over melted ice cream.
NEW CANAAN, CT- The buy one, get one free Tuesday deal at the New Canaan Baskin Robbins may be toast after an angry woman had a conniption over melted ice cream.
A man ordered two sundaes (one was basically free) and 35 minutes later the woman identifying herself as his wife came into the store, cut the line and demanded the entire payment back, according to the New Canaanite.
She said the ice cream had melted and was inedible before she threw it on the employees' floor. Employees told her they weren't authorized to give a refund, but could remake the sundae.
The woman then came in the next morning and demanded full reimbursement, plus the cost of gas. She ended up getting a refund for her sundae.
Now the store owner has said that she is not doing the BOGO deal, which was axed years ago nationally.
