Annual May Fair At St. Mark's Episcopal Church Starts Friday

The fair runs from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, rain or shine.

NEW CANAAN, CT — The annual May Fair at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in New Canaan starts with "Friday Night Lights" - the opening night event - at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 11.

The popular fair, in its 69th edition writes the New Canaan Advertiser, features rides, food, games and other sources of entertainment.

It runs - rain or shine - at the church's 111 Oenoke Ridge Road location from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday.

"May Fair is the celebration of the St. Mark’s community reaching out to the Town of New Canaan, and other communities, not only on the day of the fair, but all year long through our outreach programs funded by May Fair proceeds," organizers wrote on the church's website. "By attending May Fair, the public supports the mission of St. Mark’s and its Outreach Commission, and helps to fund generous outreach donations to charitable organizations locally, nationally, and internationally."
