Attorney Determines No Legal Issue with Dogs Inside Bristow Sanctuary

There has been a debate in town about whether dogs should be allowed int he Bristow Bird Sanctuary.

An attorney determined that there is nothing in the Bristow Bird Sanctuary deed that prohibits dogs from going on the property.

There has been debate among residents and others about whether dogs should be allowed inside the santuary, according to the New Canaanite.

Gaily Kelly of law firm Berchem, Moses & Devlin concluded there is nothing in the 1934 deed that suggests dogs aren’t allowed. The town council had sought the legal opinion.
