NEW CANAAN, CT — Police said three unlocked vehicles parked in New Canaan were entered this week, and items were reported stolen from one of them.

In a news release, Police Chief Leon Krolikowski said a Long Lots Road resident reported Tuesday afternoon two vehicles parked at their home had been rummaged through, however nothing of value was taken.

Later that evening, a Beacon Hill Lane resident reported a Patagonia backpack containing a 13-inch MacBook Air computer had been stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in their driveway. The owner believes the backpack was stolen early in the morning the previous day, Krolikowski said.
